Encap Security has passed a ISO 27001 certification program
Encap has ben a part of a certification program with AllClearID and is now certified to the standards of ISO 27001.
ISO 27001 is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management processes
Validate device client version and Force upgrade
Clients on unsupported versions of the Encap API will now get explicit error message telling the client that it is on an unsupported version. It is also possible to explicitly narrow the supported client versions or blacklist specific versions.
Support for min/max PIN length
With 3.4 Encap enables the use of a variable PIN lenght. It is now possible to set a PIN size range with min and max lenght.
Deactivation separately of authentication methods
From this release it’s possible to deactivate separately authentication methods one by one rather than deactivating all of them. This is also sent back to the server and active authentication methods for the device is updated.
Use of Firebase cloud Messaging from Google Cloud Messaging
The Android client apps now use FCM, which simplifies client development. It also enables the use of Firebase web console where apps can be managed, and notifications can be sent to specific targets.
Option to configure separate log database
Added option to configure a separate database for log related tables.
Support for Oracle 12
This version introduces support for Oracle 12 and continues support for Oracle 11g.
